Translating art

Prominent museums such as the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Escher in The Palace in The Hague and Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam have been made accessible thanks to Dedicon. We translate art into various reading formats such as braille, audio, relievo, digital and apps. During workshops, we train museum staff in producing image descriptions of the collection.

Our advice doesn’t stop with the collection, it also includes the building, restaurant and the museum shop, for example. We can also make digital information accessible, enabling visitors with a visual impairment to prepare their visit in advance.
